BUTTONS BUTTONS BUTTONS - is the theme for challenge 2..

make a softie/stuffie of your choice, but somewhere on it, there must be buttons....

and the prize for this challenge is.............. a thread and button pack...

here is an example i made for a friend a while ago

and...... here are the rules

Create a softie/stuffie of your choice, making sure you use buttons somewhere on your creation. You may follow one of the many patterns available on the world wide web or use your own original pattern or style.
Please send two low-res (each less than 1 MB) images of your entry (one of the entire piece and one detail) via email by September 30th 2009 to softienation@ymail.com , with the words “Stash softie Challenge” in the subject line. Please include your name and email address and a brief explanation of your creation (if you like). Please do not “zip” your files and be sure to send jpegs. We will post your fabulous work on the blog for all to see!
The winner will be posted on this blog on or by the 05 October 2009. and your prize sent out Pronto!

i posted this on the other main site page, but i will post it here too...

I have been asked a question, And its a great question by the way.

Are we allowed to use purchased patterns, for our challenge entry??

And the answer to that is yes you may, as long as you are not going to sell your creation after the challenge... you may use anything that inspired you to create.... as long as its for personal use only.

Hi Everyone and welcome to our first ever challenge!!!

This challenge is open to any one who loves to make yummy squishy things!!. Because its out first im going to make it an easy, get to know you challenge!

Create a Softie/Stuffie from your stash, show us what you do, what you enjoy making, and what you love to create your little friends with the most. thats it, see i said it was going to be easy!

AND YOUR PRIZE FOR THIS CHALLENGE IS........drdrdrdrdrdrdr (thats a drumroll)
